INGREDIENTS

1 pound broccoli  

1 pound cauliflower florets

Spray coconut or avocado oil

Salt to sprinkle 

Optional

Sprinkle Herbs

Rosemary, oregano, thyme, fresh or dried parsley, chipotle powder, curry powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, etc.

Preheat oven and spray the cookie sheet generously

Spread the florets on the cookie sheet.

INGREDIENTS

3 cups organic pumpkin puree

½ cup coconut sugar

⅓ cup almond milk

1 Tbsp. coconut oil

3 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or organic cornstarch

1 tsp. cinnamon

¼ tsp. ginger

½ tsp. nutmeg

¼ tsp. salt

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cup raw cashews (soaked over night or for a minimum of 2 hours)

⅛- ¼ tsp. salt to taste

2 Tbsp. chopped pickled jalapenos

2 Tbsp. pickled jalapeno juice – use more or less depending on level of spice desired

¼ cup cilantro

A few more tablespoons of water as needed to blend smoothly

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 chopped apple

2 scoops Garden of Life Raw Meal protein powder (or other protein powder)

Pinch of salt

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/8 tsp. cardamom

1/8 tsp. coriander

8 ice cubes

Blend in a high speed blender for 49 seconds or until well combined.

Looking outside myself for something that lives in me intrinsically,  can be like trying to fill a glass of water that is already full. 

Yet, looking outside my head to identify joyful things also gets my attention outside of the rat trap that my mind can be, and then I can witness other things that exist in the present moment and gain perspective. There is play, trees, birds, bees... and I can see how lucky I am.....
